Ronald W. Parent Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ronald W. "Ronnie" Parent Sr., age 73 of Millville passed away suddenly Saturday evening, May 21, 2022 at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland. He was born in Millville to the late Lawrence William and Florence Ella (Shaffer) Parent, and he was a lifelong resident. For over 30 years Ronnie worked as a Bricklayer Mason for Local No. 5 Bricklayers International and retired. He always took pride in his work. He was a former member of the Maranatha Baptist Church in Millville. Ronnie enjoyed sports, especially football and horse racing, and playing cards. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah (Bianchini); his children, Cynthia Marley of Millville, Ronald Parent Jr. of Vineland, Nathan Parent of Vineland, and Howard Parent of Laurel Lake; his siblings, Earl Parent of Kentucky, Robert Parent of PA, Thomas, Bruce and Kenneth Parent, all of Millville, and Sandy Sullivan of PA; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Nancy Parent, Betty Parent Honachi, Benjamin Parent and Joel "Jake" Parent. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon on Saturday, May 28, 2022 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
