Robert Capoferri Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On Saturday, June 11, 2022, Robert Capoferri, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away at age 61 at home with those he loved. Robert was born on November 30, 1960 in Camden, New Jersey to Vincent John and Catherine Capoferri. He graduated from Millville High School and the Cumberland County Board of Vocational Education, Lillian April School in 1981. Robert felt great pride in going to work at Easter Seals and “paying the bills”. He also found great joy participating in the Special Olympics bowling and swimming for over 20 years and received many awards. He enjoyed the competition, events, celebrations, and camaraderie amongst his peers. He most enjoyed singing, dancing, and playing the drums and guitar with so much passion, you felt compelled to join in. He had a great love for wrestling and Hulk Hogan, playing cards, watches, clocks and “telling the time'', fresh haircuts, new clothes, hats, and shoes, and bananas, ice cream, and cheeseburgers. Residing with his sister, Linda Paes and brother in law Jon Paes for the past 13 years, Robert made each day an adventure. Robert loved and accepted everyone and can be remembered most for his affection, sense of fun, and infectious smile. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Vincent John Capoferri II, his mother, Catherine DeMaio, and his brother, Vincent Capoferri III. He is survived by his sister, Linda Paes, his brothers, Ronald Capoferri and Michael Capoferri, his nieces, Jamie Tarallo, Robin Ziennker, and Sophia Simpson, his nephews, James Simpson III, Ronald Capoferri Jr., Ryan Capoferri, Vincent Capoferri IV, Michael Capoferri Jr., Brian Capoferri, and Maverick Tarallo, and many cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2022 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
