Paula Ann Shaffer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Paula Ann (Mead) Shaffer, age 71 of Millville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center, Vineland. She had been in declining health over the last year. Born in Bridgeton to the late Paul and Dorothy (Lacy) Mead, Paula graduated from Millville High School, Class of 1968, and was a lifelong resident of Millville. For many years, Paula worked as a coat maker at Rennoc in Vineland, which later became Santa's Best, and retired. Paula enjoyed over 34 years together with her loving husband, Bruce Parent. Solving crossword puzzles, reading books, and watching the news on TV were a few of her favorite pastimes. She also loved to have tea, whether it was hot or cold. She also looked forward to going to the Inspira Life Center with her sister, Edna. Most of all, Paula was a quiet person, and she enjoyed keeping to herself and she treasured the time that she was able to share with her husband, Bruce. Paula will be sadly missed by her husband Bruce Parent of Millville; one brother Bruce Mead, Sr. of Millville; one sister Edna Sutherland of Millville; her caring friends from the Perez Family of Millville; and her loving cat Baby Girl. Services for Paula will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
