Kenneth C. Hiles Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kenneth C. Hiles Sr., age 67 of Millville, passed away Monday morning, May 30, 2022 at the Millville Center after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Millville to the late Donald Butcher and Clair Steelman (Lutes) Hiles, he graduated from Millville High School, Class of 1974, and he was a lifelong resident. For over 30 years, Kenneth worked at Wilmad in Buena. He then worked as a packer for Bridor in Bridgeton for a few years and retired. Kenneth was a life member of the Millville Rescue Squad. He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Phillies, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also loved to read. Kenneth will be sadly missed by his son Kenneth C. Hiles Jr. of Millville; his brother Steelman Hiles of Millville; two nephews, Richard and his fiancée Krisdy of Fairton, and Ryan Hiles and his wife Caryn of Blackwood; and his two granddogs, Merlin and Riley. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 6, 2022 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date in Greenwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Development Department National Law Enforcement Museum, (a project of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund) 444 E Street, NW Washington, DC 20001 or to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
