Kathleen J. Probst

Kathleen J. (Cameron) Probst age 65 of Millville, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 12, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Probst married in 1967, and lived in the Millville area since 1969. For 30 years, she worked as a Residential Living Specialist for the Group Home at the Vineland Developmental Center and retired. Mrs. Probst was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Roman Catholic Church in Millville. She was an animal lover, and she enjoyed gardening, squirrel watching, spending time with family, decorating for the holidays and cooking. Mrs. Probst will be sadly missed by her husband of 49 years, Joseph J. Probst Jr.; seven children, Kathleen Bowker (Harry), Ann Marie Mallamaci (Al), Joseph J. Probst III (Cassandra), James Probst, Alisha Probst, Christian Probst, and David Probst; seven grandchildren, Joshua and Jason Bowker, Alexis Mallamaci, Jacob and Noelle Probst, and Malachi and Ariana Probst; her sister Carol Wiley; two brothers, John Cameron (Kathleen) and Hugh Cameron Jr. (Jane); many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Tiva. She was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Catherine (Bender) Cameron Sr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Parish of All Saints, Buck and Depot Streets, Millville. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
