James Warzbok, age 92 of Millville, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 6, 2016 at Cumberland Manor, Bridgeton. He had been in declining health for the past six months. Born and raised in Millville, he was a life long resident of Carmel Road in Millville. In 1943 Mr. Warzbok was drafted to serve in the United States Army, where he was a part of the the 75th Infantry Division, 897 FA during the Battle of the Bulge. He received the European-African-Middle Eastern Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal. For many years he worked as a Mold Checker for Wheaton Glass Co. in Millville and retired in 1985. He was a member of the GBBA Local No. 219. Mr. Warzbok enjoyed going to the casinos, watching sports, and smoking a good cigar. Mr. Warzbok will be sadly missed by his children, Michael Warzbok of FL, Robert Warzbok of Millville, and Patricia Syring of Bridgeton; one sister Ann Antonicjuk of Bridgeton; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Georgeanna (Morris) in 1989; one son James M. Warzbok; one daughter Jane Tepper; and his parents, Frank and Margaret Warzbok. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2016 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
