George Herschel Taylor

George Herschel Taylor age 60 of Millville, passed away Monday morning, November 1, 2021 at the Millville Center. He had been in declining health for a few years. Born in Millville to the late Richard Hampton and Phyllis Anne (Lacivita) Taylor, he was a life long resident before moving to Vineland in 2007. George graduated form Millville High School, class of 1979, and then graduated from Cumberland County College, receiving his Associates degree in 1981. From 1985 to the mid 1990s, he drove for Deluxe Taxi in Vineland. He then drove for an auto parts delivery company for five years. For the next ten years, George landscaped for Oak Hill Cemetery in Vineland, and lastly he drove a delivery truck for Excalibur Cleaners for two years and retired. George enjoyed attending car club cruises around Cumberland County. He also loved to play board games and listen to music. George will be sadly missed by his siblings, Richard Taylor of Vineland, Lisa McGuire of Vineland, Mary Garron of Bridgeton, Rhonda Taylor of Millville, and Seth Taylor of Centre Grove. Private graveside services will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Vineland at the convenience of the family.
