Florence E. Kubiak Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Florence E. Kubiak age 88 of Millville, passed away Thursday morning, August 4, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Millville to the late Anthony and Marie (Makowetski) Kubiak, she graduated from Sacred Heart High School, and was a life long Millville resident. For 32 years Florence worked as the Office Manager for Lawley Insurance Agency in Vineland. She then worked as a Secretary for the Courtyard School in Vineland for 20 years and retired. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, and she volunteered with the Millville Juvenile Conference Committee. She enjoyed traveling with the Catholic Daughters, cruising with her family, summering in Millville, and wintering in Florida. Florence will be sadly missed by her daughter Theresa Lore and her husband Chuck of Millville; her siblings, Joseph Kubiak of Vineland, Dolores Fithian of Florida, and Helen Walker of Millville; two grandchildren, Heather Headley and her husband Gregory, and Megan Duffield and her husband Harold Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Olivia Headley and Trent Headley. She was predeceased by one brother Victor Kubiak, and one sister Patricia Torisi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at St. Padre Pio Parish, Lady of Pompeii, 4680 Dante Ave, Vineland. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville. The family requests memorial contributions to the March of Dimes, Donation Processing Center, PO Box 18819, Atlanta, GA 31126. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
