Donna Lynn Ashworth

January 2, 1947 - January 3, 2022

Donna Lynn Ashworth of Millville passed away after a brief illness on Monday, January 3, 2022, just one day after her 75th birthday. Born in Millville to the late Alan and DeVoe (Reiser) Ashworth, she was a life long resident before moving to Cumberland Manor in 2009. Donna graduated from Millville High School in 1965, and she was also a graduate of Millville High School's first nursing class. For many years she worked as an LPN for Millville Hospital and Newcomb Hospital. She was a member of the Millville Church of the Nazarene and Second United Methodist Church, both of Millville. Donna had a heart of gold, saw the good in everyone and never met a stranger. Visits from her youngest cousins Logan and Seth were very special to her. She was a beautiful pianist, and played during church services at Cumberland Manor. Her family would like to thank the staff at Cumberland Manor for their excellent care for Donna over the years. Donna is survived by her special cousins and guardians, Gary and Nancy Stiles of Millville, and their extended families; and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Millville.
