November 9, 1935 - June 3, 2020
Colleen "Queenie" M. (Warfle) Wilson, age 84 of Millville, passed away peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday evening, June 3, 2020. Born in Salem and raised in Warfleville to the late Ralph and Bertha (Stanley) Warfle, Queenie moved to Millville at an early age, and was a lifelong resident. Queenie worked as a packer at Wheaton Glass Company in Millville for over 25 years, and retired. She was a hard worker and took great pride in raising her children, and loved her family with all her heart. Queenie loved the Lord and was a member of the Parish of All Saints in Millville. She was also a die-hard Yankees and Steelers fan, through and through. She loved taking care of her indoor fish tanks and owned thousands of fish over the years. She was thrilled when her son installed a fish pond for her to enjoy in the back yard, which she maintained for many years. Queenie had beautiful penmanship and maintained contact with over 50 pen pals. She truly enjoyed writing to her family and friends, and cared deeply about them all. Simply put, Queenie loved helping others. She was a member of the Millville Rescue Squad Women's Auxiliary for many years. She was also a volunteer for the Millville PBA, assisting for many years with the PBA Annual Christmas Dinner and was a scorekeeper for the PAL basketball team fundraisers. She was a Millville Neighborhood Watch Block Captain for many years and was a huge contributor to Crimestoppers. She was also instrumental in the installation of streetlights in the surrounding neighborhood. She was a member of the PTA and also assisted alongside her husband for many years with the Millville Little League and Babe Ruth League. Queenie will be sadly missed by her three sons, William R. Smith and wife Denice of Millville, Donald R. Smith and wife Lila of Laurel Lake, and Thomas J. Smith and Krista of Mullica Hill; one daughter Dawn R. Sewell and husband Robin of Quaker City, OH; adopted son William J. Rehmann and wife Jennifer of Millville; 20 beloved grandchildren, Erik (Ally), Christopher (Christina), Brandon (Iris), Rebecca (Jamie), Steven (Candace), James (Cay), Thomas (Julie), Donald, Jr. (Monica), Jeannette (Rich), D'Lila (Billy), Don'a (Nick), Casey, Rebecca, Thomas, Jr., Stefan, Matthew, Brandon, Andrew, Michael, and Felicia; 34 wonderful great grandchildren, Danica, Dijana, Quinn, Kyle (Lana), Kourtney, Colleen, Darin, Nathan, Kaylie, Reagan, James, Jr., Liberti, Ethan, Jocelyn, Gabby, Thomas, Jr., Jessica, Breanna, Isabella, Caitlyn, Colin, Hailey, Payton, Lilly, Grace, Alexis, Chase, Malachi, Caden, Zion, Ash, Khyber, Griffin, and Graham; seven special great great grandchildren, Joseph, Weston, Kasan, Sawyer, Kaylin, Eddie, and Evan; and her loving Chihuahuas, Peenie and Itty Bitty. She was predeceased by her husband James E. Wilson in 1991; one son Michael Smith; one daughter Princess Kelly; and two brothers, Ralph and Rowland Warfle. A private Graveside Service for Queenie will be conducted in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Arrangements are under the direction of the Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
