Alice May Panas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Alice May (Keen) Panas, age 95 of Millville passed away Tuesday evening, February 1, 2022 at Bishop McCarthy Center in Vineland after a brief illness. Alice was born in Millville to the late Charles and Laura (Van Hook) Keen. She graduated from Millville High School, Class of 1943, and soon married Michael. They shared 32 wonderful years of marriage together, before he sadly passed away in 1977. Alice was a homemaker, and also worked for Wheaton Glass Co. as a Bookkeeper for several years once her children were in college. Additionally, several Millville merchants benefited from Alice's bookkeeping expertise. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Millville, and she enjoyed spending time with her family, and her lifelong friend Florence Sacharnoski. Alice will be sadly missed by her children, Michael R. Panas and his wife Jo of Englewood, FL, Kathy Zabel of Germantown, MD, and Richard Panas and his wife Jennifer of Linwood; and three grandchildren, Rileigh, Brady and Bailey. Alice was predeceased by her husband Michael; and her brother Ralph Keen. A visitation for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, February 10, 2022 in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad Street, Millville. Burial will be private in Mt.
